Dobies Hires Marketing Assistant Kelly Hemmingsen
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (January 2008) -- Dobies Healthcare Group, a marketing and advertising agency serving the health care industry, announces the appointment of Kelly Hemmingsen as a marketing assistant. Hemmingsen will support the Dobies team in a number of disciplines, including copywriting, proofreading and project trafficking. She will also support the company's interactive services known as Group 3 Solutions.
Hemmingsen most recently served as a proofreader and copywriter for an advertising agency in Overland Park, Kan. Her duties included proofing ads for accuracy as well as writing for national client campaigns and in-house publications.
"We are excited to have Kelly on our team," says Dobies Healthcare Group president Carol Dobies. "Her industry experience and educational background allow her to hit the ground running and effectively serve our clients."
Hemmingsen graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in public relations from the University of Central Missouri in 2006. As a student, she was a copy editor for the campus newspaper and a volunteer publicist for a local music venue.
