Case Study: Visiting Nurse Association

Client: Visiting Nurse Association in Kansas City

Task: The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) Web site lacked sufficient content for people in search of in-home nursing services. The site design was dated and in need of a fresh, progressive look. VNA hired us to develop a new design that was caring as well as engaging. We also developed navigational structure, a content management system, enhanced text and graphic content, and secure transmission of patient referral information to conform to HIPAA regulations. We worked with VNA to identify and construct messages for each audience including patients/families, physicians, and healthcare professionals. The site design also includes a separate top-level navigation strip directing Web visitors to general information about Visiting Nurse Association.
